Menu Planning
I worked together with four other dietetics students to design an appropriate menu geared toward University students. I learned the importance of creating fun and delicious meals that are appealing to your audience. Different ethnicities, age groups, and health conditions all have different preferences when it comes to food. My team and I loved creating a bright and colorful menu to be displayed at our University and we were able to practice techniques of menu writing that make the food sound even more appealing. We all eat with our eyes first and with an appealing menu, the food service industry would be able to effectively attract its customers. To view our menu click here.
